LA Dept of Corrections Inmate Locater Hotline!!

The Louisiana Department of Corrections has set up a phone bank for prisoner evacuee families to call to:
1. Determine the whereabouts of the prisoner.
2. Be able to communicate the whereabouts of the family to the inmate. Family members can call 225 342-5935 or 225 342-3998

Don't call the institutions. Call the above numbers. DOC will also take a message of the family whereabouts and try to get it to the inmate. This will be very useful for bond purposes, releases, etc.The hotline should be taking calls from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm, but it is not yet fully staffed.
